What this covers
ScopeThis site is operated by Assembly Discovery, LLC. Using it means you accept what is on this page. If you do not, stop using it — that is the whole enforcement mechanism.
These terms govern the website. Any actual work we do for you is governed by a separate written agreement, and where the two disagree, that agreement wins.

Nothing here is advice
Read this oneThis site describes what we do. It is not legal advice, and it does not create an attorney-client relationship or any other professional relationship.
We work extensively in legal technology and eDiscovery. We are not a law firm and we do not practise law. Nothing on this site — including anything the terminal generates — should be relied on as legal, financial or regulatory advice. If you need that, retain someone qualified to give it.
Sending us a message does not make us your advisers, and does not make what you sent privileged. Do not send us anything confidential until we have agreed in writing to receive it.
The terminal
A demo, and it says soThe demo at /terminal runs a live language model. Its output is generated, not reviewed, and it can be wrong. It is there to show how we think about a problem, not to answer your problem.
Use it for what it is. Do not paste confidential, privileged or personal information into it. Do not use it to try to break into anything, to generate anything unlawful, or to extract the model behind it. We rate-limit it, and we will cut off access that abuses it.
Our material
Intellectual propertyThe text, design, code, drawings and the disARM name on this site belong to Assembly Discovery, LLC. You are welcome to read it, link to it, and quote it with attribution. You may not copy it wholesale, present it as your own, or use it to train a model.
Anything you send us stays yours. We use it to reply to you and to do the work — nothing else.
What we promise
And what we do notWe keep this site accurate and available, and we take that seriously. But we provide it as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and we do not warrant anything the terminal generates.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, and our total liability in connection with the website is limited to one hundred US dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
We link to a small number of outside sites. We do not control them and we are not responsible for what is on them.
Governing law
TexasThese terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of them will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and we each agree to those courts having jurisdiction.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, the effective date at the top changes. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the update.
